I am a twenty-one-year-old photographer gifted with a passion and love for making photographs.
Growing up in a small coastal town on the west side of South Africa, I fell in love with the ocean, fairy tales, and animals. Until recently I never considered photography as an opportunity to live out my dream of becoming a professional photographer, but here I am - living my dream!
Currently, I am a local Cape Town-based photographer who spends countless hours in grass fields, on the ocean floor, and the studio's striving to create work worth every click of my camera.
I specialize in beauty, jewellery, and portrait photography, embracing the tactile qualities of being human and the layers of creativity beneath our skin. Making photographs of nature-inspired makeup and hair, jewellery of any kind, and human beauty, I am inspired to create visual connections of not only my own imagination but my fellow creatives.
Alongside the beauty on land, I dip my toes into the cooler waters around the southern parts of South Africa where I can savour the elegant beauty of the ocean and her precious jewels. Exploring my passion for photography - and anything science-related - further, I fell in love with the history of photography, using some of the earlier photographic methods to make beautiful pieces of fine art.
Although I am a mermaid at heart, I trade my tail for bare feet, a camera, and boiling coffee to create meaningful, and unique photographs of simplistic beauty.
